My theme is based loosely on my observations and loosely on the readings from “Audiotopia” this week. The artist Basquiat has a phrase that basically means more of the same, I made the observation that much of the newer dance/party/techno music nowadays stems from beats and musical qualities of classical music in years past.  The above songs all contain underlying melodies (especially in the middle of the songs) that can easily be transferred and re-digitalized as techno songs.  Many of the musical qualities exist between the two polar genres.
